12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a cloudy burnt orange with about 4 fingers of thick white head. Aroma of citrus hops and caramel. Taste is light bitter and light sweet. Lots of citrus with a little dash of caramel. Full bodied with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, very good. I could drink this every day.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours black with a whole bunch of super thick white head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and citrus hops. Taste is medium bitter. Pine and citrus hops with coffee and chocolate. Medium bodied with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, very good. Too bad there are only 2 of these in the sampler pack.

12 ounce bottle from Vintage Cellar. Pours a clear dark brown color with a medium sized foamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of cocoa, roasted malts, tobacco, leafy hops. The taste is roasted malts, cocoa, honey and a bitter leafy hop finish. Medium bodied, chewy texture, average carbonation. Decent beer.

12 ounce bottle from Vintage Cellar. Pours a hazy copper color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel malts with floral and tropical hops. The taste is earthy, herbal, almost minty hops, tea leaves and caramel malts. Medium bodied. Not sure I like the hop profile, but its solid.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours a cloudy brown with an orange hue and a gigantic shaving foam style off-white head. Sweet roasty nose. Medium body, sweet roast, heavy licorice and a solid bitterness. The hops are bitter alright but don’t really add much aromatic freshness - at least not at this stage. 200312

Bottled (NYC)
Dark Coca-Cola brown color, small steady beige head. Strong pine needles, resin and wood in the nose. Medium-bodied. Very resiny and pine woody flavor. Quite "green" black IPA by flavor. Not very balanced.
