Draft at Spacebar. Poured a mostly clear yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was light tartness, sour kettle tartness. Light citrus, some candy. Flavor was light lemon, sweet candy sugar notes. Light floral.

Half Time provided this 12 oz bottle recently. Not a favorite style but the essentials seem to be here. A snifter in place, I make the pour. Brown-amber colored body finished with a moderate amount of brown-going-to-tan foam. The nose is dark fruit, grain and some medicine. The taste is well, it is all right within the style. I taste molasses, scorched grain, tobacco, dark plums, a caramel sweetness, paper, berries and malt. Slightly bitter. The nuances are better appreciated by others I am sure.

Bottle from Eugene (Beastiefan2k), cheers mate. Bottled on 29th January 2024 and poured into an old 'Corsendonk' stemmed tulip glass at my daughters place in Laguna Hills on Saturday 13th July 2024. Red hue to the body, mahogany in colour, neat tanned foaming head. This is my kind of beer, feet up and sitting on a comfortable chair with the fire on (not today though, there's a heat wave in California and it's bloody hot!). This is a very fine 'Old Ale' with a sweet caramel and fruity nature, impressed. Best beer I've had on this trip and most likely this year.

US Pint can (they have dropped 'Oscura' from it's name); cheers Eugene (Beastiefan2k) for this. Drank on 5th July 2024 while in California. Clean mahogany body, fast fading beige crust. Malty front with a dry finish.
