Description
In 1996 Pabst, once one of the largest breweries in the United States closed down its production in Milwaukee after 152 years. Since then Pabst’s legacy brands like Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR), Old Milwaukee, Lone Star, Rainier, Stroh’s, Old Style and Schlitz are brewed under contract by third parties. For nearly two decades, MillerCoors brews and distributes all of Pabst's beers under an agreement. In 2019, it has entered with City Brewing Company into a 20-year contract production agreement until 2040. Pabst will gradually transfer from 2021 until 2024 its production from MillerCoors to City Brewing.

Can. A- Hay, cereal, citrus, grass. A- Golden color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Balanced but slightly matly. P- Light body, thin texture, lively carbonation, smooth dry finish. O- A decent classic beer. Nothing great about it but it quenches your thirst on a hot day.

Can, 0.473l. Clear straw color with medium sized frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of grains, grassy hops and vegetables with some skunky notes. Taste starts with light sweet malt, following is fresh grassy and a bit metallic, while finish is bland and very light bitter. Light body, watery texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Tried it once and hope will never happen again..

Bouteille: Pale golden, clear, small white foamy layer, visible carbonation, a tinge of citrussy hops in the mainly cardboardy-grainy nose; light bodied to watery, thin bitter-sweet flavour; very short grainy-citrussy finish, a sweetish aftertaste is barely detectable. No, they can’t…

Bottle from Terre de Boissons, Calais. One of my whales. Clear gold lasting white head. Corn and rice aroma. It’s a not very good pale lager. What can I say. It’s slightly drinkable. Vague sting on the finish. It’s kinda ok. Not awful. Some paper. Some vague lemon. It’s ok actually.
