Bottle bought in Rome. Pours black, with a thin, fleeting head. Strong coffee aroma, with some molasses, cocoa powder, and some good leather and earth. Sweet and toasty, with a nice bitterness. Heavy body, with a thick, creamy mouthfeel. This is a strong, thick stout, especially for the ABV. Impressive.

On tap @Ritual Pab (Rome-Italy). Hazy yellowish pour, minimal white foam. Nose: fruity, softly tropical, hints of wild garlic. Mouth: carbonation is medium, aggressively oniony, resinous, dank, dry hops, softly juicy. Well done.

Tap at So Good (Rome). Pale hazy color, persistent white foam. Nose: garlic a bit, grassy. Mouth is really clean, pils malty with a mild grassy dry finish.

Caña en Cimmeria 19..10..2017. (r14). Color ámbar amarillento velado con espuma blanca. Sabores frescos maltosos y cereales con buena dosis de afrutados dulces. Ligeros herbáceos Lúpulados algo maduros terrosos. Cuerpo medio algo pastoso y espumosos con buena sensación alcohólica. Algo seca. Amargo contenido afrutado suave. Bastante buena. Para repetir.

On tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Dorata, leggermente torbida, schiuma medio-leggera. Al naso fantastico bouquet di frutta tropicale (mango, passionfruit) e agrumi, resina, leggero erbaceo. In bocca è equilibrata, base di malto media, perfettamente bilanciata da un amaro lungo e persistente ma mai eccessivo, l'alcol forse si sente un po' troppo. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Da rifinire appena, ma siamo vicini al capolavoro.
