Bottle from Waitrose, Wallingford, Oxon, 15th November 2011 consumed at home 16th November 2011 (my birthday) Bit of a come down after the Kernel beers that I’ve just had, however it’s ok. Not as intensely hoppy as the description suggests. Some bitterness but mixed with a slight muddling sweetness. Ok. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Bottle 33cl. @ Kelly Tasting @ The Coach & Horses, Sheffield Road, Dronfield, South Yorkshire, England S18 2GD.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, cabbage water. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090418]

Aroma is moderate malty, fruit, moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, champagne yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Dark with ruby highlights and a thick, light beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, raspberry, oak, lightly roasted malts. Flavor is much more roasted than the aroma would lead you to believe. Cocoa, some deep fruits, and oak. Mouth feels a little too carbonated, but not bad. Enjoyable.

33cl bottle from Chapel Down Winery, Tenterden. Mahogany brown with a soft loose cream head; aroma of chocolate malt and vanilla; milky chocolate and vanilla flavours; sweet and smoky finish. Very, very, good.

33cl bottle from Chapel Down Winery, Tenterden. Gold with a fast fading white head; fresh, delicate spicy hop aromas; rich a nd syrupy in the mouth without being sweet, some good chewy malts, spicy hops and some warming dry alcohol. Excellent.

Bottle at home ... Crisp golden orange .... a lager hop nose with just a hint of soft malts ... smooth and sweet ... light carbonation ... not by thing but as lager goes not to bad.

330ml bottle from Bentalls, Kingston. Amber with a thin white head; very fine carbonation;musty hop aroma; sweet and malty flavour; rather dry finish. Not very exciting.

A deep red/brown coloured brew, with a roast malt nose with atinge of sourness, sharp but not unplesent citric notes in front with rounded malt.
