Very little rim over hazy orange beer. Oxydized, stale cookies nose, oxydized malts, mannah. More oxydized malts, faint citrus and spices, some caramel. Alcoholic, seems pretty attenuated... BUT. This is hardly drinkable. Poor excuse for an artisanal beer.

(33cl bottle) Slightly hazy, golden colour with a thick foamy white head. Sweet malty nose, minimal biscuity with a berry-fruity touch. Sweet flavour with a tinge of acidity, medium bodied with a moderate, slightly crispy carbonation. Slightly cara-malty base with fruity notes; lightly bitter and sourish malty finish with a shy tinge of hops. Nothing special, almost boring (23.V.09).

Imported from my RateBeer account as Unicum Amber (by Brouwerij De Cock):
Aroma: 5/10, Appearance: 3/5, Taste: 5/10, Palate: 2/5, Overall: 10/20, MyTotalScore: 2.5/5
15/VIII/08 - sampled @ Internationaal Streekbierenfestival 2008 (Zwevegem) - BB: n/a
Warning: early amateur rating from brief notes that I found when cleaning out the home office.
Listed as "Unicum", but since there was a "Unicum Blond" as well on the list, we can conclude it was the Amber. Got a mere 5/10, so I didn't like it.
