Description
Founded in 2020, Sureshot Brewing has been a long term project of James Campbell. Everyone with a bitter taste in their mouth knows James. A serial head brewer at some of Manchester’s most respected independent breweries, and pioneer of the best in new world styles and hops to the UK. J.C. has been instrumental in the development of new wave British brewing over the last decade (and then some).

But we're more than a CV, we believe beer is something that’s meant to be enjoyed. That's why we’re focusing on what we know people love: hoppy IPAs, clean lagers, and flavourful, easy-drinking pale ales. Now we're ready to get brewing and release our first beers in 2022.

Can. Very hazy orange gold beer, good size bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has a good fine minerally crispness. Fluffy pale malts, a thinnish but pleasing creamy sweetness. Crisp hops, crisp pine and a fair dose of hop spice marks this one as apologetically hoppy. But we also get the bright fruity side of hops. Bright and slightly juicy citrus, touch of tropical fruits. Finishes crisp and with a good helping of savory hop. Good stuff. Could have even more hop fruits and a richer malt base but this is multi faceted and drinkable dipa.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, teeny tiny pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Fluffy pale malts deliver a light creamy sweetness. Solid hop selection brings fairly bright and rounded citrus with crisp pine and just a pinch of savory hop skunk. Touch of juicier orange and tangerine on the back end. Finishes minerally crisp with some hop spice starting to bite. Solid dipa, bright and drinkable, just no wow factor for me.
