With s name like this, it ought to be a sour. Instead its a havily hopped (I think with citra) saison that has far more lemon flavor than saison funkiness. Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. The beer is a dark mahogany brown color with a medium creamy beige head and small patches of lace. Aroma of toasted malt, vanilla and hops. Full-bodied with a chewy dark malt character and notes of bourbon, pine, and oaky vanilla. The finish is chocolate malt and vanilla. Good beer all around.
