Bottled. Black opaque colour, brown foamish head. Very stoutish nose, sweet malt and hints of barley. Sweet roasted malty taste with hints of bread. Breadish and a bit roasted aftertaste. A bit sticky mouthfeel.

Fully hazy amber-olive beer; head very fast gone. Bready nose, cloves, Friesian "nagelkaas" (cheese with cloves). Bready, heavy malt taste, cloves & phenolic, but all balanced and nice. Slick, wheaty-slick MF, nearly heavy bodied. Good Dunkelweizen. I wonder why the style isn’t more popular, compared to the blond versions.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown color beer with a brownish head with average retention. Aroma is dominated by roasted malts and lack the usual doppelbock banana feel. Taste is a bit deceiving with again the roasted side taking a lot of place and lacking the more sweet/banana and chocolate/coca feels in this beer. A bit disappointed and not even nears the greatness of the Ayinger.

A hazy light yellow beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and the flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and a dry hoppy end.

Typical hefe aroma, pours a hazy yellow with a huge white head. Tastes quite spicy with some small hints of lemon and banana. Not much of a body. Quite refreshing for a hefe.

A dark amber beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, hops, and grain. The flavor is strong and sweet with notes of caramel, roasted malt, and hints of bitter chocolate, that starts the dry bitter end. A nice beer.

Clear nut brown color with a huge lasting head of light brown. Light malt and yeasty banana in the aroma. Pleasant malt sweetness with a nice tangy finish. Needs just a touch more body but this isn’t a bad Dunkelweizen.
