Bottle from Inn At Home, Guildford. The aroma is a heavy hit of malt, back up by some jabbing berries. Chestnut, with a ruby tint. Light opaque. Frothy beige head. Medium bitter. Hoppy. With a berry sourness peaking and then giving way to the bitterness again. Medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Long astringent finish. It's raw. Not quite balanced. But drinkable enough.

Shared bottle at the Cotteridge gathering on 23rd June 2018. Deep brown, lightly tanned topping. Malty molasses ruled the nose, taste also semi-sweet malts forward, light peppery twist on an old fruit salad left out in the sun. Interesting without setting my world on fire.

23rd June 2018, shared bottle at Cotteridge gathering. Clear amber body (I was one of the first to pour it), white pillow on top. Floral nose, maybe some juniper, certainly something herbal/spiced in the aroma. Taste was almost tart with a berry and herbal flavouring, woody notes too. Interesting.

Bottle split at Cotteridge Convention IV, many thanks, 23/06/18. Murky amber with a decent beige cap. Nose is tangy fruit rinds, light peppery spice, dark malts, brown bread, sweet and sour exhaust. Taste comprises sweet and sticky fruits, burnt toffee, biscuit, fruit loaf, light spice. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost. Passable sipper but lacking depth for the ABV.

Shared at the Cotteridge Convention, 2018. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy off white head. The aroma is malty nutty caramel malt, alcohol bitter. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a dry malt, grainy yeast, dry floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
