Angel Spoons. Keg. Hazy orange beer, small pale cream colour head. Fluffy dry palate. Good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malts, sweetish. Nice blood orange dominates and goes well with the minerally crispness. Very drinkable.

Bottle from Inn At Home, Guildford. Malt and hops, an almost smoky aroma. Opaque, or muddy, reddish tinged brown. Thin beige head, more substantial around the rim. Light-medium bitter. This then grows in strength. Hoppy quinine. Again a smoky element. ABV evident in the finish. Thick bodies. Slick. A light fizz of carb. As already mentioned a boozy finish - long and astringent. Whilst it does have an edge to it, otherwise it's surprisingly restrained. It's the quinine finish that drops points. Hides ABV pretty well. As far as the experiment goes, the result is acceptable.

Bottle from Inn At Home, Guildford. Sweet floral aroma, with spice, resin and pepper. An opaque amber brown. Big thick off-white head. Heavy bitter. Resn and tart berries. The pepper comes through in the finish. Some underlying grains and sweet fruit. Relatively light bodied and on the thin side. Fizzy carb. Dry finish. I like it. It's got plenty of flavour and spirit. However, as it's been years since I had some actual Sahti I'm not sure how accurate it is. Still a good winter warmer.
