Deep hazy (not cloudy) body, thick cream head. Aroma sweet with candied oranges and hints of alcohol. Body sweet and oily, with lots of candied fruit (oranges, berries), some underlying dankness, and an odd grapiness. This was a miss for me.

Bottle thanks to Derek. Pours black with small tan head. The aroma is strong bourbon, molasses, vanilla, toasted coconut. Slick body, coconut, molasses, chocolate, vanilla, roast, boozy finish, enjoyed this.

This hides the alcohol incredibly well. Thick dark pour, smooth vanilla, chocolate, almond sweetness. Lovely.

Bottle at De Gebrande Winning. Pours black with small tan head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is banana, cocoa, roast, wood, bourbon. Slick body, banana cream, milk chocolate, wood, boozy finish, very nice.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep brown with a full two fingers of light beige foam that lingers. Coffee really stands out with milk as it warms. Perfect texture..smooth and creamy with milk and coffee pairing nicely. Really nice.

2 month old pint can A: Poured a lasting tall dark beige head atop a clear amber gold body. S: Toasty bread, light smoke, leafy and herbal hops. T: Exactly like the nose. Lightly smokey grain, biscuit and toast with low hop notes of dried leaves, herbs and grass. Malty but not sweet. M: Medium light body, Fat bubbles, and smokey grassy herb finish. O: Tastefully done, preserving the helles character despite light smoke.
