Description

750ml @ SF shared with almost full gang (missing two biggest guys only).
Aroma: a lot of fruit, smells literally like amd green tea / matcha 😲 Even having those creamy notes from it.
Taste: along the same lines, a lot of fruit, with noticeable matcha notes and acidity.
Overall: very interesting.

Hazy, thin head. Ok, that's a really nice aroma, lots of quince, light wood, maybe some floral honey. Tart, a little lactic, with a fairly big quince note, some honey action. Finishes a little bit sharp.

Poured from 750mL bottle (lot 2022/2023-12). Hazed yellow gold with small white head. Tons of quince upfront, light funk, tea like quality. Slow sipper.

750mL bottle. Pours a hazy blonde with a white head. A very pronounced quince character on the nose; nice funk underneath, and quite floral, but very much dominated by the quince. Flavour is also very quince-forward, lots of citric tartness, acidity, with a nice layer of funk. Very nice.

Pours a clear, bit darker blonde amber. Big white head. Scent is relatively mild, brett focussed. Taste is dry, very woody, funky, medium mild acidity , but very pronounced aromatic features from the wildness, brett but also citrussy acid, silent on acetic though. Medium Mild bitterness that's ( for a lambicbeer) to the higher side. Cognac is surprisingly mild. A very decent geuze, but not the prime pick of boerenerf's offerings.

Pours a slightly darker blonde, no real head. Scent is lambic funk, but restrained. Very mild on the cognac. Similar for the taste. Cognac is there, but very subtile. Lambic nice and complex, modest in acidity, but rich in balance. Very nice drinking lambic, but perhaps not to focussed on the cognac, which makes this fall between 'not special enough to be a special' and 'pretty expensive for a regular' - although boerenerf has very, very agreeable prices. i just think the sherry version was far more pronounced, the fruit versions are far, far more unique, and their 'regular' geuze can compete with this one.

0,375l bottle at home. BB 04/2028. As Oude Kriek Lambiek Oogst 2022. deep red color, small pink head. smells funky, earthy, cherries, light marzipan, bit citric. very nice smell. full body, bubbly carbonation. tastes cherries, marzipan, bubbly, citric, fizzy, some pepper, bit herbal. finishes dry and light to medium sour with notes of citrus, pepper and cherry notes. very nice one, rather fizzy, carbonation makes it taste a tad more sour / clean than it is. very good one.

A lightly hazed golden lambic with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with light Brett, light ground cherry, light horse blanket, light Epsom salts, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with ground cherries, lactic acid notes, Epsom salts, very nice and smooth. On
