Pounder can from a total wine and more in NC. Pour is big and black. Initial uptake is a little on the sweet side. Difficult to pick out the coconut in there except maybe the sweet cloying thing is it. Yea, definitely you can tell this is a higher alky porter. Think almost cloying baltic porter. Somewhat decent carbonation. Still, in the middle the sweetness is getting harder to take, reminds me of those pastry stouts, yuk. Yes, finish is certainly pastry stout.

From a pounder can this pours surprisingly clear and almost has no color at all. Its almost as clear as water. It also possesses a fairly neutral nose but if you search I think there is a tad of orange on the olfactory? Has a decent level of carbonation on the initial uptake. Mild, easy drinking with just the right amount of blood orange. As a matter of fact, it seems to not to be blood orange at all, just plain orange if you ask me. Yes, some of the blood orange beers I've had in the past have been mostly bitter rude blood orange peel but this is not. Yes, quite civilized and quaffable. Not overly sweet with fruit and just the right amount of salt to let you know its a gozee! ;~) Nice job yodah nodah! Gose it must be, good, it is!

First taste right from the chilled 16 oz pounder can. Initial impressions are rude immature brewer attempts at a beer. Sharp and astringent. I assume its clear and pale, like others say below. Nasty Nellie, a little worse than a standard IPA. Yes, that sharp astringent bitter ass thong (thing) is so apparent, its innyer face. Difficult bullshit, rude and unusually nasty. Yea, I'gonnah finish this bastard because I paid 2 bucks for it at total wine in NC: So there you have it. Could not drink another, I'm actually disappointed its not 12 frichjken ounces; and I rarely feel like that about any beery brew. This stuff is a mess, like an experiment gone wrong, then made up a name that match's the BS presented? Just didn't want to take the loss ND? Just asking.

On tap at the Noda airport. 14 ounces in a pint glass, whatever. Dark, opaque, chocolate-y brown on black with a tan head. Char & burn biscuit nose. Bittersweet, dusty cocoa, silky feel, frothy carb, wood chips, faint boozy-ness, subtle vanilla, lingering burnt toast. Not absolutely dry, but not noticably sweet. Simple & effective. Good.

On tap @Noda airport. Golden, cloudy, lacy, pale apple cider-esque color. Catty, turned OJ. Like the air smells after weed whacking in the bush. I do not get the fruity aromas described. Juicy, definitely. Big tangerine, lime, spicy mustard greens, some pith, a little dank. Thinner than anticipated. Less carbonation then the past few taps. Hidden acidity, (which I like). Feels like more IBUs. Okay.

On tap @ Noda airport. 14oz pint glass. Greasy, medium gold, lingering dirty lace. Mostly pine & dry cereal nose. Floral, grapefruit, lingering bitter greens, saltines, iron, slightly watered down flavor. Frothy, pretty dry, heavier that I'd assumed. Is this low calorie? Meh.

Draft at the bar at the end of the world, aka the NoDa airport hub. 14oz in a pint glass. Frothy, not MGD pale gold. Says filtered, but it's ever so slightly dull. Soft, faintly bitter, steel hops. Cereal sweetness. Frothy, lingering pith bitterness, good texture, flaked cereal, tickly. Obviously light. Decent.
