Cask (handpump) @ Southampton Arms, 139 Highgate Road, London, Greater London England NW5 1LE.Clear medium amber orange colour with a small to average, fizzy - frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, plastic. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, plastic, burnt plastic. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20101203]

Bottled (thanks fonefan). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is citrus, grass, crisp maltyness as well as some mild grainyness. Flavour is grassy, citrus fruity with some mild floral notes as well. Pleasant bittery finish. Bready, fruity and floral in the aftertaste.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 3/06/2011. Dark, ruddy brown with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish caramel and berry fruits with a trace of roastiness and short, bitter finish. Fine.

Bottle courtesy of the Acherds in Stevenage. Pours orange amber with a foamy beige head. Aroma is rather fruity plus caramel. Body is more substantial than usual, and the finish seems to be a fruity, malty bitter. I’d say the brewers put in more ingredients than the norm. It’s rather bursting with flavor, and it does the occasion proud.

Cask @ Bon Accord. Light golden colour, white head. Aroma is hoppy and malty, bit of bread. Flavour is malty, fairly hoppy, biscuit. Dry finish. Medium body. Superbly drinkable.

Bottle from Morrisons. Amber colour, thin white head. Aroma is light malted, bit of caramel and fruits. Flavour is caramel malts, some hops and spices. Slightly bitter and dry finish. A bit odd.

Cask at a back street pub in St. Ives. Floral aroma. Pours gold with a creamy white head. Nice fruit and floral aspects. Finishes mildly, but nicely, bitter. Excellent.
