Bottle 330ml. @ home.Clear dark red brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, dusty chocolate, moderate hoppy, grass, light to moderate yeasty, leather. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, dark malt, dusty chocolate, funky. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120108]

33cl bottle-shared by jtclockwork-pours a foamy/rich light tan head with hazy gold color with some particles. Aroma is sweet light malt, medium fruit. Taste is sweet light malt, medium fruit, secondary spice hops.

Muddy amber body. Off-white, lightly brown, creamy head. Nice nose of caramalts. Moderately bitter, moderately sweet flavour with lots of caramel. Very well balanced and a nice complexity of crispy malts. Very refreshing because of the hops.

Small yellow head, stable, over orange-amber beer. Ambréemalt nose, mineral, rainwatersmell. Coloured malts, caramel, sweet, with parsley flavour. Spritzy touch of CO² acidity, medium bodied at best. OK, but I remember the Cerckel beers quite differently (especially better bodied, and a more outspoken sweet-sourish balance).

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, deep golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Moderately yeasty and quite fruity aroma with notes of citrus and peaches, accompanied by mildly notes of cara-malt and a spicy touch. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, full bodied with a modest carbonation. Surprisingly one-sided cara-malty and moderately fruity taste with a mildly spicy touch; sweet malt-accented finish with a dangerously well-hidden alcohol. Not bad, just a bit profane. 14.X.11

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden coloured hue with impurities and a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty, slightly vinous fruity aroma with notes of citrus and grapes, backed a mildly spicy touch. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly cara-malty taste with present fruity flavours; sweet-bitter, slightly spicy and quite fruity finish with a tinge of alcohol showing up. Decent. 14.X.11

(bottle, 33cl, as 400 Quadrigenti) Hazy, golden colour with a blond and dense foamy head. Slightly grainy and yeasty malty aroma with a subtle fruity note and herbal hoppy accents. Slightly bitter flavour, slim bodied with a prickly carbonation. Slim malty base with citric and herbal notes, also a tinge of white bread; mildly bitter and slightly sour-fruity finish.
