Cask at GBBF, 2014. Gold pour with a white head. Baked apple, tropical fruit and sweet citrus aroma. Bitter citrus and fresh bread flavour. Bitter finish. Quite tasty.

On cask at Salmon Inn, Galashiels - Hazy amber body, thick white head. Rich fruity nose with tropical fruits, peaches and grapefruit. Taste is caramel, with that fruitiness of peach and grapefruit kicking in to give a slightly bitter finish. A nice and pleasant surprise!

Bottle at the Watford tasting 26/07/14. Opaque black coloured pour with a lasting cream head. Aroma is tangy bramvle , jammy fruits and brackberry. Flavour is dark roast, rich dark choc, tart fruits, tart raspberry in finish. Medium body with tart finish. Nice tangy rich stout.

Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Malts are light and dry and bring dry cream sweetness. Hops are mildly pine and light orange citrus. Little aniseed before a light semi dry finish. Hangs together fairly well.

Cask at Scottish Real Ale Festival 2014. Black body with a thin beige head. Aroma of rich chocolate and liqueur. Flavour of roasted malts, chocolate, a hint of smoke and a bitter, grassy finish. Medium body with a smooth texture. Quite bitter for an Imperial Stout, which I like.
