Pours bright, clear gold into a shaker. Sickly white head recedes to hug rim. Off malt aromas. Dry and crisp with no flavor whatsoever.

On tap at Wachi in Kyoto. Deep gold with a very fine head. Rather faint aroma of sweetish malts and hops. Nice but too faint and not complex. Good cereal flavor, malts and biscuits, slightly buttery. Decent enough hops. Crisp but creamy, with medium body. Pleasant enough. Much better on tap than in the bottle.

Really pale straw. Aroma of broccoli-accented icing sugar. Extremely empty palate. Hollowed out, gutted, soulless. They mixed icing sugar, baking soda and water.

This is the summer seasonal in their "Premium Muroka (Unfiltered)" series. Cloudy, bright yellow. Malty aroma with wheat but not a whole lot of it. Citrus, spices, banana. A wheat malt flavor close to a hefeweizen. Quite spicy, and reasonably good. Slightly hoppy, with a dry finish, though a bit too watery. Not a bad beer from the big guys.

(Bottle, brewed by Wells & Young, on 2008-08-09) Pale golden. Clear. Largish white head. Metallic nose with light hoppy aroma. Light-bodied soft palate with lot of carbonation. Bitterness and bit of sweetness in taste. Boring.

Mine was called White Beer, but I assume it’s the same thing. Glowing hay with a frothey white head. Citrus fruits, yeasty spice, malts, and some sweet banana in the aroma. Flavor is a bit bland but all the classis White notes are there. Yeast, spice, malts, and citrus. It seems to be put together well, it’s just lacking a strong flavor.

Can, hauled back by Jörg, danke! Ok so I am just back from a 10km run - best scenario for this beer. Golden low carbonation and head. Metallic, chemical aroma, grainy malt. Very lightbodied, straw malt, rusty hops, light citric finish. Doesnt offend.

65cl bottle made by AB in LA; should have read the fine print when I picked it up! Nose of sweet grain and bananas; clear gold with a medium white head; taste of graininess, and fruity banana notes with a faint background bitterness that becomes slightly stronger as the banana fades. At least it don’t taste like Bud!
