Appearance is cola brown, with a small fizzy beige head which goes quickly. Aroma is malt, fruitcake hints, raisiny dark fruit. Taste- malty bread, some hop bitterness, dark fruit, caramel hints, bit of chocolate, biscuity malt.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from the Trembling Madness online. Pours clear russet with a frothy, khaki head. Not bad overall, holds toasted grains, mild sweetness, some British yeast, a smattering of semi-ripe berries, light leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Lightly sweet finish with more toasted malts, low bitterness, fruity accents. Drinks alright.

Mar 20. Keg @ The Colmore, Birmingham. Aroma of chocolate, soy. Quite flavoursome with a strong milk chocolate character and light parma violet shades. Very nice.

Bottled. Deep dark brown color. Roasted malt, apple syrup and nutmeg in the aroma. Amazing body for the modest ABV. Licorice, malt, nutmeg and papple syrup in the flavor. Surprisingly drinkable. Nice one!

500ml bottle (Cropton Brewery labels), drank at home on 24th June 2018, well in date. Good looking beer, mahogany brown with a beige affair on top. Malty front to the nose and taste, hops playing second fiddle throughout. Good body depth.
