330 ml bottle, from Longdan Supermarket, Shoreditch, London. Pours gold with no head. Aroma: sweet grains, honey, corn. Taste: moderate+ sweet, somewhat vegetal, honey, smidge of citrus. Medium body with low carbonation. Nasty.

330ml can on 14th June 2023, received as gift. Pours gold with disappearing whitish foam and almost no lacing. A fruity aroma. Berry fruits and light caramel malts in-mouth. Tangy blend of orchard and berry fruits in finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a medium body. Pleasant and easy drinking for its strength.

0.33 l bottle thanks to Marko, shared with him. Clear golden, small off-white head. Malty and corn aroma, cardboard. Cooked corn. Thin, mineral, paper, corn flavour. Alcohol. Some bitterness. Bland, light and soft. Sweet. Awful.

Off-tasting, unpleasant, not trying too hard to resemble beer.

I agree with the previous reviewer DijkBier: it's weird you can't rate the 8% brew apart from the 6,9%. This is for the former. A crystal clear golden pour with an ephemerous, foamy, off-white head that leaves a ring. Aroma is almost non-existent: just a tad of sweet malt, maybe. Crisp, low-bodied, not really bitter but rather full of foul esters. Quite bad, I understand the low score.

A tall, red, 500 ml can that specifically states the abv is 8%. I acquired the beer at the Bermudian equivalent of a 7/11 store at King’s Wharf. A Filipino brew at a Bermuda convenience store, go figure. The drink is a step up on your basic lager, slightly sweet, corn, white bread, Ritz cracker and water. It includes the extra oomph of the higher abv. Not bad.

Sample from bottle at Vectura-messe, as Red Horse Beer. ABV is 8%. Brewed for San Miguel in Hong Kong. Clear golden colour. Awful aroma. Bad flavour too, drainpour. The only reason to drink this is if you are an alcoholic living on the street in Hong Kong in a cardboard box.
