Bottled. Pours yellowish, unclear with a decent white head. The aroma is citrusy and fresh, with some citrus-peelish bitterness and spices. Citrus-bitter flavor with some spices and lemon. Medium to thin body. Quite nice, but it needs a hot summer day to be enjoyed. (070119)

(Bottle at Tavern St Germain, Paris, 15 Oct) Dark amber colour with beige frothy head. Yeast sediment. Spicy and herbal nose with a distinct aroma of gingerbread cake, notes of raisins, dried figs, ginger, honey and a bourbon-like vanilla character. Very complex. Fruity and spicy taste with gingerbread cake, cardamom, dried figs and raisins. Balanced sweetness throughout. Hops are overshadowed by all the different spices and herbs. Very nice one.
