Champagne bottle(750ml) aged 2004. -I’m not a (big) wine fan, and even less I like the champagne, but this beer-champagne is excellent. Pale golden coloured, little white airy head, very sparkling, pleasant fruity nose, fruity and spicy flavor. Nicely harmonized barley and yeast with bubbling wine. Exquisite aperitif, with only objection on the price, which is about 20 euro.

(bottle) Light hazy golden colour with a huge foamy white head. Sweet grainy malty nose, slightly toasted with peach and citrus and a touch of coriander and alcohol. Sweet flavour, medium to full body, medium carbonation. Sweet toastmalty and fruity taste, sweetbitter and spicy finish with a touch of rose(-perfume). Very good, but not the perfect Triple.

Draught. Dark copper colour. Big, stable, creamy head. Nice, mild carbonation and good mouthfeel. Sweetish flavour, slightly spicy. Hint of aroma hops.

Sampled on draft at the Sharp Edge Beer Emporium this beer poured a dark golden color with a large fluffy white head that produced decent lacing. The aroma was sweet tangy malts, pear, grape with a lightly yeasty undertone. The flavor is very sweet with nice light malts, candied pear, apricots, yeast, and light dry spice that I am unable to identify. There is a mild alcohol burn. Fairly full bodied.

Light golden ale with a thick white big bubbled head. Light malt, alcohol, aniseed, caraway and peach notes. Delightful bubbly and dry sweet malt with expanding qualities, oily and onctuous mouuthfeel. Good hops presence, with the alcohol warmth, and a honey finale.

Alcohol comes out in the finish. Long peppery aftertaste. Something like those "cactus (or equivalent) long drinks" we have here. Price/quality -ratio is not very good for this one and looks quite overrated here. Please give me my Dom Perignon!

Bottle 33cl. Brown and not the version that can be seen on the photo. Huge white head and hazy golden color. Fruit aromas and flavour, mostly citric. I don’t have a good tripel experience but this one is the best so far.

Bottle . Dark orange thin white lasting head. Caramel and orange peel run through this beer. Lovely caramel with citrus/orange nose. Caramel in mouth with orange peel/hop dry finish. Good balance, nice beer with toffee but not over the top with the candy sugar. On draught at The Rake. Bit sickly with strong malt. But drinkable and odd seeing it on draught 3.5/5

Drank from the Kwak glass, at Tolkien’s, Zagreb ....poured a huge creamy tan head that made a great cascading effect when subsiding. That, and the odd glass drew the attention of some kids that were sitting nearby and they started taking pictures of it. Haha....hm, I digress. I’m not too sure about the colour, because it was orange in the top and red in the ball-bottom of the glass, but I guess orange is the correct choice. The nose was spicy, with hints of raisins and processed mandarines. The taste is very good, coriander/spices, sweet and sourish at the same time, some hints of lemony hops, and an odd, Belgian-style malt background I’m not sure I particulary like. It feels a bit light bodied, but the spice assault soon takes over the taste, and, well, for a belgian strong ale, it’s damn refreshing when cold. I see why some don’t like it, but in my opinion, it’s great.
