Bottle (from Ales by Mail). Hazy orangeish brown colour with a mediumsized off-white foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is ginger, some raisins and mild vanilla and wood. Flavour is ginger, raisins, some alcohol sweetness with mild wood, vanilla and some herbal tones. Lots of ginger and wood in the aftertaste.

Bottle, backlog April 2014. Clear golden body under a medium sized white head. Light in aroma with some malt and a fruity touch. Taste is sweet, light pale malt, soft, hint of fruit and moderate bitterness. Medium body and short in aftertaste. Easy going, a bit dull but no faults.

Cask at The Dispensary, Liverpool, July 2014. Pours light hazed dark amber with a frothy white head. Aroma: cereal, zesty lemon & lime, gooseberry. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, dry, malty, caramel, light grapefruit, melon, gooseberry. Medium body with soft carbonation.

Cask (gravity) @ #MBCF17, [ Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2017 ], Manchester Central Convention Complex, Windmill St, Petersfield, Manchester, Great Manchester, England M2 3GX. [ As Offbeat Delisherous Milk Choc ].ABV: 6.1%. Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, chocolate, milk chocolate, meat, smoke. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, ash, dark malt, smoked, chocolate, milk chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. IMO: quit odd with the milk chocolate and the meat - smoked ! [20170120] 6-3-7-3-13

Bottle shared on the train pre Cotts. Pours lightly hazy orange-gold with a creamy white head. The nose holds light raspberry, a little dry wheat. Light sweet flavour with a little grassy bitterness, background raspberry, some bitter seeds. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bitter finish, more seeds and grass, crispy wheat, minimal raspberry. So so.
