Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass very dark, almost black. Dry-malty aroma. Starts mild-malty, modest roasty-smokey. Malty notes get more and more intense, also more roasty. Finish dry-roasty, hints of cacao. Not bad!

Pink beer, pinkish white head, starts fluffy but deminishes fast. Aroma of fresh raspberries. Flavour rather thin, raspberry (less pronounced than the aroma), sweetness and slight astrigency of raspberry. Faint malts. Light body. Based on the Blanche, same qualities: refreshing and inoffensive. Same flaw too: little pronounced flavours to amuse the palate.
(33cl bottle bought @ the brewery. Quite fresh, no label put on yet. BB 1-2012)

Drunk at the beautiful yard of the brewery. Very pale hazy yellow white beer, white head. Aroma of spices, some malt, citrus. Sweetish flavour, fruity, coriander and citrus. Quite thin body. Finish rather dry. Light and drinkable, this beer won’t offend anyone, but it’s rather hard to take a liking for it too.

Slightly hazy, brown beer, medium small white head. Aroma quite sweet, candy sugar, malts. Flavour malty and quite sweet, but with some balance. Not my favourite kind of beer, but nicely made and definitely not bad.

Dark red, almost black beer with firm, lasting, pillowy tan head. Aroma is rather restrained but burned malts, coffee, liquorice, anis and some smoke. Carbonation rather light. Flavour slightly sweet, bitter (burned malts bitter). Coffee, liquorice, some chocolate. Bit of smoke. Bit reminding of a stout too, maybe because of the pillowy head and low carbonation. Finish dry and rather mild, some malty coffee tones linger together with some smoke. Nice one.

Bottle. An unclear, brown beer topped by a small off-whtie to beige head. Lots of candy on the nose, with a strange fruityness and some paint thinner. but still sort of nice. Sweet, candy-ish falvor with a certain acidity. Medium to full body. Sort of nice, but not very quaffable, and certainly a beer I won’t repeat. 110513

9/08/2011 33cl bottle @ Erwin's place - BB: 01/2011 (2011-372) Thanks (?) to Erwin for sharing the bottle!

Note: we only noticed afterwards the beer had expired. This one calls for a rerating, but as I read reviews with the same remarks, it'll stand for now. I still need to come across the first non expired bottle.

Cloudy orange to beige beer, small off-white head, unstable. Aroma: lots of yeast, some spices, bit of citrus, but mainly yeast. MF: ok carbon, light to medium body. Taste: very sour start, citrus, vinegar, some spices. Beer has clearly gone bad. Calls for a review.

Bottle. It’s a hazy, yellowish white beer with a dense, two-finger white head leaving lacings. Citrus, coriander seeds and leaves, pale malts mash and hints of pineapples on the nose. The flavor has a bit too sweet fruityness, with coriander leaves and some bitterness. Thinish and quite dry on the palate, and tad heavy on the carbonation. Well, a drinkable beer it is, but certainly not my kind of witbier. 110502
