(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of joergen. Slightly hazy dark amber golden with an off-white head. Fresh aroma of some coriander I believe. Medium body, fruit and again perfumy coriander with a light underlying acidity. Lightly bitter finish. 130608

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of joergen. Slightly hazy reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma of hard roasted malt and vanilla. Rather malt bitter finish. Lovely - but mostly reminds me of a Stout. 130608

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy and dark brown with a lacing tan head. Mild roasted malt and light spiced. Flavour is roasted malt with nice chocolate smoothness apparently taking out the acidic note from the roasted malt. Mild bitterness into a dry finish.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown with a thin tan color head. The aroma jumps out of the pour, very sweet with some fruit, cloves, and malt. Taste is a sweet malt kinda syrup, i get this cloves or mint leave hint to it. Very interesting conpaired to the rates already posted, could age of this bottle have changed its overly sweet original flavor or have they perfected the receipe since the beginning. I guess time will tell!Earlier Rating: 2/24/2007 Total Score: 3.4Bottle: Poured a dark black/brown with a light brown head. Sweet hoppy aroma. Dark malt and metal spice flavor.

Small creamy head, leaving some lace over red-brown beer. Very little nose, sweetish, slightly spicy. Bit of human sweat, dark malts, lots of restsugars. Bit of greenery retronasal. Sticky MF (restsugars!), syrupy especially seen its low ABV. Disappointing - wàààày too sweet.

Small yellow-beige head, some lace; black beer with red highlights. Extremely fruity nose, with brambles, blueberries, blackcurrant, a pinch of pepper & nutmeg, alcohol. Very good and delicate at the same time. Very dry, chalky taste, dried berries this time, black cardemom peel, but also cardboard. Not very well-bodied, bit too-dry-empty. Full of outfermented sugar? Interesting beer, but maybe pushed a bit too far in the dry direction.

At Delirium Café as Bellevaux Malmedy Blonde
Amber color, quite flat. The aroma is slightly sweet and fruity. The flavor as well is not strong, but malty, sweet and fruity, also lightly spicy. Pleasant.

Unclear orange-amber beer under a small, yellowish head. Fruity nose, chewing gum, orange peel, cherry flavouring, bit of lunaria. Fruity and other esters, solvent, some chewing gum. Going to very flowery, but it is a bit forced. Slick, alcohol showing. Ester-ridden beer, I think neither mash, neither fermentation are very well under control...

Fully hazy dark golden beer with extremely dense, snowwhite head. Very - no: SUPERB - nose with some corianderlike spices but also great fresh hops, even c-hopslike, ending on orangepeel or -marmalade. Much less uplifting taste, perfumey, but not very hoppy or spicey, but rather soapy. Finish is a bit lemony. Slick (wheat), light to medium bodied. The nose brought me in heaven, the taste brought me back on earth. OK, certainly for such a new brewery.
