330ml can via Beer52: BB 10th September 2024. Poured into a Westmalle chalice at home on 5th December 2024. It's a poor mans 'Westmalle Double' in every sense. Thin bodied and a little too sweet for a true Belgian Double in my opinion.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A tawny brown pour with a fast fading beige head; malty aroma; sweet malty taste with brown sugar and molasses; lifted by a light hoppy bitterness. Very drinkable.

Clear yellow blond beer, solid creamy white head, stable, a bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very hoppy, grassy, some marijuana even, a little fruity, a malty touch, more marijuana. MF: lively carbon, medium to full body. Taste: good bitterness up front, grassy, a little hoppy, grains, a bit sourish. Aftertaste: hoppy, a little funky, sweet grains, some citrus, a bit sour, some apples, refreshing, nice but not great.
