Can at the 7th Serbian tasting in Belgrade-Serbia. Ciao guys! Pours practically filtered deep yellow, small white head disappearing in a blink. Nose: metal, corny, honey. Meh. Mouth: tart palate, boring body, inoffensive but not terrific. Just for the tick. Mauritius on! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle conditioned; Mauritius; rating from 2003
Dark color, dark foam. Quite strong roasted malt nose. Strange body, vegetable, it doesn’t fully convince me, but it gets better in some time.

330ml bottle into schooner glass. Very slight aroma. Pale amber, thin white head, a few bubbles. Mineral water spritzy, really zings on the tongue. No taste otherwise. Finish is very bitter (for a second) then cooked vegetables and cardboard. No taste then horrible aftertaste! Not a beer to be tried twice.

33cl bottle bought at Internationales Berliner Bierfestival. Pours clear golden with a white head. Slightly strange fruity and malty aroma with caramel, notes of tropical fruits and herbs. Medium sweet with fruity, caramelly and some slightly unpleasant flavours. Finishes fairly bitter.

330ml bottle @ the 8th Shrewsbury Bottle Share, thanks to Blackhaddock! Pours gold with creamy white head & a sweet honey aroma. Taste is honey, malts and hay. A bit underwhelming but could be worse.

330ml bottle: made on 10 Jan 14. Shared between four of us at the September Shrewsbury bottle swap on 8 Sep 2014. Pleasantly surprised by this beer, especially as most people on here scored it so low. Good, clear golden body with a decent white head. Semi-sweet and malty from the start with minimal hop presence, my sweet tooth liked it. The alcohol sat nicely within the brew and I thought it fine.

16/VII/14 - 33cl can @ home - BB: 26/VI/14 (ohmygodsayitisntso!) (2014-812) Thanks to Mathieu and Barbara for the can!

Clear dark blond beer, big fizzy off-white head, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: very sweet and malty, grains, hay, some overripe banana. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very sweet, sugary, lots of banana, slightly bitter. Aftertaste: sweet, again ripe banana, more bitterness towards the end. Not really enjoyable, even not in 30°C while sitting in the sun in my garden.
