Our Story:
To us, The X represents and is about crossing paths, coming to a juncture and ending up where you want to be.
We are a patchwork of professional brewers, and beer lovers who had too often asked ourselves, If I wasn’t doing what I am doing now, what would I be doing?
To us, life is about being where you want to be, not where you have to be.
We are a team that has put our best efforts forward to produce great clean beer, provide an unparalleled brewery experience, and contribute to the greater wellbeing of community.
A reason, a season, or a lifetime. You’ll find it at Brewery X.

Can purchased at silver strand liquor, drunk after walking in Annie's Canyon and playing in the sand at north La Jolla. I bought it for the turtles theme, hope it's good! Should have been rating #1989 but here we are a decade late, #1999. Pretty clear dark golden amber, moderate head. Citrusy, slightly tropi caramel laced nose. Malty start for sure, bitterness in check for WC IPA. Well rounded flavor, mid body but not super complex. Flavor is not too long lasting except a tinge of grapefruity bitterness at the back end. Turtle Power mothaf.....!

25th July 2023, on-tap at the Doho Bar on Dana Point Beach. Plastic cup! Clear golden body, white affair on top. Nice, easy blend, some battering hops and sweetening malts; nothing exciting or note worthy, but a pleasant 'in the sunshine' Blonde.

On tap, 16oz's into a plastic beaker at the Doho bar on the beach at Dana Point, California on 26th July 2023. Hazy golden orange, fast fading white head. Citrus nose and taste, great in the afternoon sun while the grand children played on the beach.

US pint can, drank on 21st July 2023 at my daughters in Laguna Hills. Light haze in the golden body, white head. Citrus front to this hoppy IPA, both the aroma and taste are dominated by the hops and it's a fairly bitter example of the style.

OC Local, 1st ever Beer Festival; Sunday 16th July 2023. 100ml pours. This was my first beer of the afternoon, on-tap it poured a bright, clean and clear gold, Snow White head. Plenty of hop bitterness with both piney and citrusy notes, no Caterpillars were harmed when brewing this!

Part of a flight in Finney's, Laguna Beach on 13th July 2023. Clean and clear golden body, lasting white head. Good hoppy West Coast IPA, citrus fruits and piney notes battle it out in both the aroma and taste. Solid!

16 oz can at Cross Grain Brewhouse, Ontario Airport. Crisp and easy drinking lager enjoyed straight from the can. Slight corn, pils grain nose. Touch of mineral, a grain biting finish. Solid lager for playing the waiting game at the gate, with no good brew options around.
