650mL bottle, pours a clear golden (totally filtered) with a medium white head. Aroma brings out yeast, light pears, and a touch of candied sugar. Flavour brings out loads of Belgian yeast, booze, and a touch of candied sugar. Quite boozy for an 8%, with a very low complexity. Not very refined or elegant in any way. Nothing offensive, but not very skilled. A miss from Driftwood.

This sour is a little heavy on the woody aftertaste. Pours a nice red with lacing and some head. Cherry and booze in aroma with average to fizzy carbonation. Bottle thanks to Liam.

Poured from the tap. Clear reddish brown with full beige head. Malt and belgian yeast aroma with just hints of dark fruit. Taste of sweet toffee, only hints of a traditional dubble. Very simple body.

650mL bottle, pours a dark ruby red with a centimeter of pink/beige head. Aroma of faded cherry, prominent brett, and oak - smells very wild and quite complex. Flavour brings out tart cherries upfront, transitioning to the medium funky bretty notes, and oak barrels. No doubt about it - the base beer has been transformed into something much more elegant and complex. The brett and oak barrels are used very well. Makes the base beer seem like a distant shadow. Excellent.

650mL bottle, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma of clove, Belgian spices, a little banana and a touch of candied sugar. Flavour brings out light spices, clove, a bit of Belgian yeast, a touch of dark fruit, and some candied sugar. Quite spicy and dry, with a finish of candied sugar and dark fruits. Solid stuff, but nothing special.

2012. Pours ruby clear with great head of foam and good lacing. Aroma of hops, caramelized malt and some prune and dark fruits. Booze as well in finish. Soft carbonation. Finishes bittersweet. Well-balanced and well done overall. Texture thick but not too syrupy. Bottle from Cook Street.
