Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW - London. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds dry pale bread, light hay. Light sweet flavour with simple pale, bready malt character, touches of lemon rind. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Pretty well balanced to finish, with more citrus rind, pale bread, some grainy biscuits and hay. Not bad.

On cask up the White Lady. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - citrus and tomato plant. Taste - tonnes of citrus and resin. Palate - light bodied with a creamy yet oily texture and a long dry finish. Overall - yeah quite nice.

Cask up the white lady. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light malt, faint lemon, light spice. Taste is more of the same. Mineral bite to the finish.

Cask at the angle Islington. Aroma is subdued sweet malts, nutty. A clear golden light orange coloured pour with a lasting sticky white head. Flavour is composed of sweet malts, little grassy hop, brambles, dirty hop finish. Palate is decent cask condition semi sweet rounded. Simple beer.

Cask handpull at Lord Moon of the Mall. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Floral hoppy citrusy blond beer. Some lime. Ok condition. Pleasant enough slight hop sting on finish fine if unremarkable

Cask-conditioned at the Draper’s Arms, Bristol, 27/9/2016. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Cereal malts, hedgerow fruits, leafy hops and a touch of root ginger, before a decent, bitter, finish. Good.

Cask at GBBF 2016. It pours black with a tiny head. The aroma is rich, oily, treacle, toasted malt and syrupy fruits. The taste is rich, sweet, oily, Dandelion & Burdock, plum pie, roasty, earth and a touch of ash with a drying finish. Light - medium body and decent carbonation. Has more depth of flavour than your standard mild. I quite like it.
