Why do brewers advertise the fact that they make their beers with ice? I never understood that. Why not just have a beer on the rocks? More domestic crap.

A yellow beer with an OK head though disappearing fast. It has an aroma of the cereal grain which it has been brewed on. The taste is watery and that of the cereal grain - a bit metallic. It ends of in a very slight hoppyness - but not a type of hops that I like. A really lousy beer.

Mickeys does it again! I hate ice beers, but i like this one. Not that horrible sweet alcohol taste but more a refined stale malt taste. I'd imagine if this was your local brew you'd rate it a .5 but as it was a refreshing choice to get drunk on in Detroit, instead of other crap forties, I never had a problem with it. Gotta love the little bee guy on the label. I have a feeling if i have this again for the first time in 6 years, I will not have such nice things to say.

I think this is a decent beer for a malt liquor. I absolutely hate malt liquor and will normally not touch it. This has some carbonation problems, but actually has some body and taste to it. Granted its not the best taste, kinda a crisp yeasty cereal malt taste, that dosent really make much sense. Rerate. Well 7 years later I tried this again. Horrible stale appley bite, little sweetness, tastes like cardboard with water on it. Just horrible, couldnt finish it.

this was strange. Very heavy beer, thick alcoholic taste, with a nasty cereal head on it. Dosent taste anywhere near fresh or clean or crisp, but thats no surprise. Gotta love the ABV though. oh yeah, and this had one of the most metallic tastes ive ever tasted in a bottle.

Good for a laugh, not for a good drink. Highly syruppy and malt alcohol ruin it. who knows whats in this thing. funny red gold color.

There is a three way tie between this, genny cream ale and natty ice for the worst beer in the world in my book. After saying that. ive drank so much of this beer its ridiculous. gotta love fraternities. An awful skunky piss taste, with metallic notes, and a horrible horrible cereal alcohol syruppy taste that wont leave you for a couple days.

it takes away some of the bite, so thats a good thing and is dirt cheap, so its a good party choice, one im proud to have made many a time. . .
