Extreme amounts of acetyldehyde, just tastes like paper, stale paper I guess. Pretty bad, but if you’ve drunk alot of it, you can deal with it.

Why bother, seriously. At least it tasted slightly smoother than Amstel Light.

I can't imagine drinking 40oz of this regularly. Unfortunately I didn't have any fallen homies to tip it for, so this was shared between 4 people (I know, we are SO ghetto). I wonder if the Belgian Monks tip a Westy when they lose one of theirs? I'd still take this over an A/B product any day.

Seriously struck by RateBeer addiction, I bought this beer only to rate it - and I hate myself for it! Hate hate hate!! I paid good money for this crap, in the US at least it’s cheap - here it’s expensive. Importing this shit to Europe is totally ridiculous! And the alternative in Norway, if you want an American beer, is Bud!! (If you’re ’lucky’, you might find Michelob!) My expectations were very low, but I soon found out that this ’beer’ was even worse than I expected. Aroma reminiscent of the wine yeast of my disastrous, short lived wine-making career 15 years ago. Excessive head that disappears rather quickly. Hardly any flavour at all - just a bland, metallic mouthfeel. Luckily, there is no aftertaste either (if there was, it would surely have been bad). ’Genuine draught’ my ass! This is just bad, real BAD!!

Decent macro brew. Goes well with pizza or in a keg at a wedding reception but stay away if you are looking for something with character.
