Bottle from Nisa, Hebden Bridge. Golden with next to no head. Lightly sweetened in both aroma and taste, It's a somewhat bland offering with its hops. There's very little bitterness in the result of this one though.

Bottled 500ml (K-Citymarket Roi)
Deep red colour, small off-white head. Artifical kriek confet candy aroma. Light-bodied. Dryish, a bit peppery and cherry flavoured. Easy "candy saison". Tolerable.

Cask at the Fat Cat, Ipswich. Pours very dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, mild roasting, chocolate, fruit, caramel and very light vanilla. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation.

50cl bottle. From Citymarket, Kerava. Poured reddish brown color with a thin bubbly white head. Cherry notes in aroma, sweet almondy cake as well. Marzipan, cherries and sweetness in flavor. Mild wood and malts in finish. Sticky. Odd finish. Light. Weird brew overall.

500ml bottle (as Cherry Saison): BBE Oct 18. Drank at home on 20th Oct 17. Actually quite liked this, deep pink body, light pink head. Cherries in both the nose and taste but not overpoweringly so, some Saison sourness, but fairly sweet overall. Body wise it was thin and almost watery. Different and I thought interesting.

Bottle. Morrisons. As Little Valley Cherry Saison. Clear, dark pink. Foamy, lasting, pale pink head. Nose has Maraschino cherry. Cherry yoghurt. Cherry lips sweets. As well, there's a gluey, rubbery who knows what going on. Taste is surprisingly dry, and harsh, woody bitter. Thin body. Prickly carbonation. Earthy, woody bitterness to finish. Horribly artificial, dirty bitter mess, that never gets close to a saison.

Bottle at home picked up from Morrisons. Shared with Sarah. A redd y pink coloured pour with a small pinkish white head. Aroma is pink cherry, little artificial, solvent, tart cherry. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody cherry, solvent, harsh alcohol. Somewhat artificial cherry flavours. Palate is bitter, harsh , moderate carbonation. Meh. No real saison yeast detected.

Bottle, nearly out of date, from the local offy. Clear as a bell, copper amber colour. Thick, foamy, lasting, beige head. Nose has malt loaf. Some sour fruit. Granary bread. Some nuts. Taste is lightly sour, with some sweetness on the lips. Light body. Slightly sour, vine fruit bitterness to finish. A bit odd, what with the sour thing going on, but I didn’t mind it overall.
