From cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. A bright chestnut pour with a loose cream head; malty aroma; malty taste with some caramel and a leafy bitterness; then a dry biscuity finish. An old fashioned Yorkshire bitter.

Bottle from Nisa, Hebden Bridge. Hazy pale dirty-samber with a thin head. Bitter-sweet bitter, there's not much pale ale texture here except perhaps for a hint of fruit in its nose.
