Strong grassy aroma, also hints of sweetish fruits and herbal hops, a touch of vinegar. Light bodied, Citric and slightly acidic mouthfeel. Hoppy flavour, herbal and earthy notes, distinct bitterness in the finish, slightly metallic. Won't buy again.

From cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. A bright chestnut pour with a loose cream head; malty aroma; malty taste with some caramel and a leafy bitterness; then a dry biscuity finish. An old fashioned Yorkshire bitter.

Bottle from Nisa, Hebden Bridge. Hazy pale dirty-samber with a thin head. Bitter-sweet bitter, there's not much pale ale texture here except perhaps for a hint of fruit in its nose.
