500ml bottle conditioned (lot 6056, BBE Aug 2017) into a UK pint sleeve at home on 3rd Mar 2017. Good, dark mahogany body, full and lasting creamy head. Malty with a slight sulphurous trace in both the nose and taste. Strange one this, malty molasses trying to showcase their sweetness against a bitter, musty, earthy, sulphur undertone: not sure it should taste like this (although I note others have mentioned similar flavours).

Brilliant white rocky head stayed well on a hazy dark orange coloured body. Minimalist hoppy aroma. Medium body. Sharp & dry on the palate. Very cloying. Bitter pith tastes of citrus, grapefruit, orange & hops. Typical English IPA - but I’m enjoying this one.

Frothy beige head stayed well on a dark mahogany coloured, finely effervescent body. Woody, vinous, aroma with honey & syrup hints. Thick creamy body, clean on the palate & a sharp tickle down the throat. This is so smooth. Malty to the fore with dark sugar & cherry followed by a crisp tangy back of plum, over stewed fruits, apple & grape. A rather nice sipper!

Cask handpull at The Doric Arch Euston. Cola coloured lasting tan head. Yes a vanilla chocolate beer. It’s like chocolate ripple vanilla ice cream in a glass. Drinkable though.

Bottle from Real Foods. Appearance - golden with a nice lacy head. Nose - smells like a wit. Citrus and creamy banana. Taste - more of the same. A bit sour and malty though. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - not bad.
