Brett & Sauvage Espece depinette 5.5% Apparently, the first true spontaneously fermented beer in Quebec. Lovely pinkish orange with a big funky aroma. Nice tart aftertaste. Great stuff that wowed many.

Bottle. Lovely looking in the bottle and the glass, a salmon pink, hazy, with a white head. Nose is raspberry and light resin, grapefruit, leather and old books. Far more spruce comes out in the mouth, raspberry, citrus, less funky, more smooth and silky, with something like a cottony mouthfeel. Just magnificent.
