(750ml bottle @ La Souche Limoilou, Quebec City, Nov 15/22) Pours clear deep pink with a small and short-lived near-white head and minimal lace. Aroma is heavy on lightly cooked and confiture raspberries, quite earthy and with a good component of pips, nice rich but balanced funk profile leaning towards forest and leather with the spruce aromatics becoming much more prominent towards the bottom of the bottle, nice neutral woody overtones. Flavour is moderately acidic (lactic/malic and lightly acetic) with the lightly cooked or preserved raspberry component quite intense, moderate well-balanced earthy but not sulphurous funk, again the spruce tips felt like they became more prominent later in the bottle with their fresh and resinous accents, nice woody structure providing good tannic balance into the finish, subtle florals (honey?), drying lightly mineral finish balanced by pip astringency and oaky grip. Medium-bodied, slightly slick, smooth filling bottle-conditioned carb. Another lovely wild from B&S, definitely need to seek out more from them. Would have liked a bit more spruce tip but all good...

Bottle thanks to Travlr. dull pinkish color. Filmy head. Cool shop apparently and interesting story with brewery bars rely ever being opened. Cherry and berry and wood and steel. Wine tannins.

Bottle thanks to Travlr. Color is a light red / pink. Flavor is similar to blueberry, raspberry, funky yeast, mild Brett. Tart, not sour. Pleasant in funk.

Poured from 750mL bottle (tasting with Jean-Francois & Derek). Golden with small white head. Great balance, huge nose of sea buckthorn and light floral notes. Taste is slightly more subdued in a really good way.

A rosey ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light Brett, light lactic notes, light roses, light pine, pleasant. In mouth, a nice tart mix of raspberry, light dark fruits, light mineral notes, light Brett, very nice. Bottle at Festibiere de Laval 2022.

In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light Brett, light lactic notes, light Epsom salts, very nice and smooth. Bottle at Festibiere de Laval 2022.
