500ml (Marc-Antoine G.!) @ Sales Force. Appearance: slightly hazy copper with a white head. Aroma: smells very weird, as it was aged on the branches of the larch (why the heck you would put those in the beer???), blackberries. Taste: along the same lines, moderately acidic, with mould notes. Overall: weird.

500mL bottle, pours a clear peachy, pinkish amber with a small white head. Aroma is quite complex, with a fairly complex blackberry and partially fermented out honey character, and some nice bugs. Flavour is quite unusual, with lots of tart blackberries, plenty of thorny pithiness, and light bugs. Very thorny and pithy, like they soaked a thorn bush in here. Odd. Not bad, but isn't totally convincing.

Poured from 500mL bottle (bb 05/2026). Clear-ish red with small white head. Nice red berry element with a touch of oak and a hint of mint. Quite nice. More fruit beer like with mild tartness.

500ml @ SalesForce. Appearance: almost clear pale purple with a white head. Aroma: nice funk and fruity notes, a bit dry. Taste: along the same lines, a bit of minerals, lots of berries, quite juicy. Overall: good one.

500mL bottle, pours clear red with a small white head. Aroma is full of thorny berries, moderate funk, and a touch of oak. Flavour is full of thorny red berries, lots of pithiness, gentle funk, and oak. Lots of berries and oak, not exactly lambic-like, but very nice fruitiness and wild yeast character. Very good.

(750ml bottle @ La Souche Limoilou, Quebec City, Nov 16/21) Pours dark orange-tinged gold with a thin white head. Challenging to describe, this one. Nose is shockingly bright fresh beefsteak tomato accented with basil leaves, subtle funk, what the heck. A base of nicely balanced wild ale malt base with lightly sweet (and yes, lightly vegetal) beefsteak tomato, balanced lactic and softly twangy acetic acid, nice presence of fresh basil but it's not overpowering in flavour., funk is reasonably restrained (a little earthy), finish is a little trying but nicely tart, tomato in plain view, mineral salinity pops up, herbal basil kick. Medium-bodied, a bit slick, rather soft carbonation. Absolutely mind-blowing beer in terms of off-the-wall concept and insane level of execution. This is both one of the strangest and one of the most drinkable beers I've had, which is saying something.

Tasting at Ryan's, bottle
Hazy red colour with pink head. The aroma is nice, mildly funky, fuity. Highly carbonated, with sharp acidity, some fruit, lemony, not much complexity, but it's quite peasant.

Cloudy red with a decent white head. Funky and earthy red berry notes. Soured red berry and a light finish. Easy.

Fancy looking 330ml (thx, Simon P. for the bottle and Max C. for bringin it!) @ Ryan's. Appearance: hazy pale purple woth a bit rose head. Aroma: nice berries, funky, a bit of acidity. Taste: very light, woody, lots of berries character. Overall: pretty good, but it IS definitely overhyped by QC traders basically for not reason.

Poured from 330mL bottle. Hazy pink-ish red with small white head. Berry with mild acidic sour notes. Decent.
