At the source: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is lemon and rye. Taste is lemony with a nice rye finish that does not overpower the pale ale character. Pretty good. Refreshing.

Draught at King’s Head, 7/10/16.
Light amber-blonde body shows very little haze for the style. White head atop is small and shows moderate retention.
Biscuity malts show very dry caramel and a bit of vanilla-cream. Soft, floral and grassy spices are light and there is some simple bubble gum on the finish. Not terribly compelling, but clean.
Again, very straightforward witbier, more on the malty side. Clove/bubblegum is minimal with a good wheat presence and some enjoyable caramel malt-like character. Medium carbonation, loose at times. Very bizarre that this came from an experimental pilot series even if it’s perfectly competent.
