Bottled. Pale yellow colour, big white head. Lemon, skunked hops and some herbs in aroma. horrible flavour, sweetness meets bitterness and crashes. Sweet hoppy and skunky aftertaste.

Bottled. Rubyish/dark copper coloured, small white bubbly head. Rye, raisins and malt in a pleasant mix in the aroma. Sweet fruity flavour with plummy, malty and hoppy hints. Quite weldone and -balanced.

Canned. Ok, second in a row from Norway that is pure crap. Golden colour, big white head gives a reason not to give it minimum, as this is the only positive thing about the beer. Barnyard in aroma. Horrible barnyardish malty flavour...

Bottled (BB 10/2006)
Pale yellow, not much head. Herbal, sweet, grassy aroma. Medium-bodied, sweet honeyish flavor with harsh malty background. Some grassy notes there. Quite useless beer.

Can with name "Macks Pilsner" (BB 08/2006)
Golden yellow, good white head. Ashy, plastic malty nose. Light, harsh, unclean and unbalanced malt drink. To be avoided. Pilsner? Are you kidding?

330 ml bottle, bought at LIDL Norway (contract brew). Very pale straw coloured, tolerable head. Weak aroma, hints of flowers and honey. Flavour is typical "neutral" pilsener / pale lager, but the "boiled" notes in the finish suggest that this beer might be brewed by Trio Bryggeri, Mack’s partner brewery (50% Mack ownership) in Southern Norway. Typical Trio house character.

Can. Aroma is quite weak, but some grass and malt can be found. Clear, golden with ok white head, but taste is not much at all. A little sweet, with hops in the end, but not much. Tasted it both at 3 and 10 degrees, but it was very little different. (050926)

Bottle. The brewing of this contract-brew is now handed over to Mack in Tromsø. It is made for a chain of beer and soda outlets in the eastern parts of Norway. It pours golden with white head, and tastes much the same as most norwegian pilsners and pale lagers, hardly anything at all. Some malt and bitterness, but thats all. Thx to KØLF for this one. Bottle. Pale, golden with white head. Aroma is a little malty, and sorry to say, faint hints of the same smell you get when you puke, and some of it gets out through your nose. Taste is malt and bitterness. (050925)
