Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2016, Day 2. Hazy dark pink to reddish color, small to average sized off-white head. Aroma of berries indeed. Taste slightly sourish, berries, even a sweetish hint. Quite pleasant.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2016. Slightly hazy, pinkish red with a white head. Sweetish, fruity and a little sourish aroma of raspberries, strawberries and some cherries. Sourish-sweetish, quite fruity taste of raspberries, strawberries and cherries, followed by a medium long, slightly tart finish. Thin to medium body, very effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Nice!

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2016. Clear, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish, malty aroma of caramel, honey and some peach. Quite sweet, malty and a little fruity taste of caramel, honey and peach, followed by a long, slightly bitter, very peppery finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, but too peppery.

Sweetish-malty, slightly grassy taste of caramel, honey and straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite grassy finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Thank you for sharing BE RB Crew! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2016. Day 1. Black, little tanned head. Nose is weird sour licorice, herbal, extremely big on licorice, herbal. Taste is weird plastic, sour vinous, messy, nail polish, sour glue, messy, acid, varnish. Body is sour varnish, plastic. Not sure if intentional like that but not a fan.

Draft @ Borefts 2016. Shared with RB Belgian crew. Noire, col fin beige. Arôme au nez malté, caramel, chocolaté avec un rétro frais et chaleureux même pour les effluves au niveau du Cognac. Palais est de suite centré sur l’apport de chaleur du Cognac et de la barrique. Le tout reste assez plaisant pour le profil aigrelet, sans savoir vraiment la raison initiale de ce mélange ou alors que le batch était infecté dès le départ. Bref, le tout reste encore plaisant, pas mal de malts apportant une belle épaisseur en bouche, chocolaté, caramel, crystal cara. Le moût ajoute ce côté fruité raisin qui ressort bien en fin de bouche avec un Cognac plaisant et où le brett reste plutôt un détail ce qui n’est pas forcément une mauvaise chose.
