Bottle. Color: Clear amber, beige head. Aroma: Tart, fruity, apple syrup, some Brett funk. Taste: Over moderate tartness, some lightly spicy Saison yeast, fruity apple syrup, hints of gooseberry, grape and stone fruit. Subtle Brett funk and wood. Medium body, below average carbonation. Ok.

27 December 2025. Van Hoefs Christmas tasting - cheers to all! Can from Hopduvel.
A: clear orange, thin, off-white head.
A: ripe white grape, apricot, rhubarb, orange zest, strawberry.
T: sour apricot, grape, strawberry, sourdough, lemon acid.
F: tart, woody tannins, funky hay, grape skin.
P: medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Pretty complex yet drinkable.

Amber, bright. Acetic, tart, no fruit in this one. Flat and i’m looking for some nuance other than wood and sour.

Orangey colour, no head. Light orange lends a touch of sweetness but it’s fairly acidic. Not bad but it’s a bit sharp.
