Bottle(from Max, yet without a brewery):Cloudy, deep golden, stable big creamy head; fruity-yeasty nose similar to Belgian brews, piney hops and alcohol in the background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, tart MF; lingering orangey-fruity finish, yeast, some hops and alcohol in the aftertaste. They should get rid of that Belgian yeast…

(bottle) Hazy, deep golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Juicy malty aroma with traces of caramel, backed by fruity hops with notes of citrus, grapefruit and tangerines, also hints of booze are detectable. Moderately sweet and mildly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a tame, almost flat carbonation. Delicately bready and syrupy malty base with mainly fruity hops and a touch of alcohol, which is getting stronger towards the sweet and mildly bitter finish. The lack of carbonation makes the brew quite sticky. 16.III.16

(bottle) Almost cloudy, deep amber colour with a big and loose tanned foamy head. Mildly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, chocolate and some sourish berry-fruity notes, showing hints of infection. Sweet-bitter and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Toasty malty base with mildly bready notes, caramel and a whiff of chocolate in the background; slightly sourish fruity finish with notes of caramel. 07.III.16

Had this as Maxbrauerei India Pale Ale. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass lighter than exspected. Starts intense hoppy, flowery, a bit soapy. Salty hints. Shows a bit of a good Belgian wit. Finish fruity like lemon. Light sourish. Nice one!

Black color with tan head that goes down quickly. Dry coffee aroma, muddy water. Dry, like a coffee stout, but too weak. ABV hidden well, but I am not sure if that’s a good idea.
