Day 23 Advent Calendar from Costco 2022: Flötzinger Hell 5% Pale straw gold with bright fizzy white foam that leaves decent lacing behind. The aroma is sweet hay malts and probably the weakest point of this beer. Medium bodied, it’s smooth and balanced with raspy carbonation and a dryish finish. Sweet grainy malts with the tiniest hint of hops. It’s ok but fairly forgettable.

(Draught at Biererei, Berlin, 31 July 2022) Reddish brown colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, fruity nose with dark bread, wheat, ripe banana and prunes. Malty, fruity taste with notes of bread, wheat, banana, prunes, clove and a touch of chocolate. Low bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced dunkelweizen. Nice one.

Bottle online from Raynville Superstore, Leeds. Pours opaque pale orange with a decent foamy off-white cap. Aroma: wheat, yeast, light fruity. Taste: light to moderate sweet & light bitter, towards dry, wheat, yeast, green banana, light estery. Light to medium body with foamy carbonation. I didn't mind this, it does it's job. I'd probably drink it again.
