Actually quite good. Color me impressed. Probably the best of its kind that I've had.

0.33 l bottle from 'Niemand', best before March 2022. Hazy, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, minimally sourish, rather fruity aroma of lemon, lemonade and a touch of grains. Gently sweet, minimally sourish, fairly fruity taste of fresh lemon, lemonade and hints of grains, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally tart finish. Thin body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Refreshing Radler, tastes like fresh lemon squeezed into a lager, definitely among the best ones of the genre.

0.5 l bottle from 'denn's' (Lüdenscheid) as 'Neumarkter Lammsbräu Festbier Winter' at 5.6% abv, best before March 2022. Clear, copper with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly malty, a little grassy aroma of grains, some honey and light straw. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, minimally grassy taste of grains, honey, some straw and light vanilla, followed by a short, gently bitter, a bit grassy, minimally metallic finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Average Festbier, not very interesting, quite tame, other than that well-brewed.

Neumarkter Lammsbräu EdelPils Zzzisch, Fläschchen von Edeka, Berlin. - Goldgelb, klar.
(25.6.2024: 3,2.)
