Bottle. Xmas gift of the missus. White and green label now. Hazed pale amber. Very sturdy just off white foam. Looks good. Semi sweet nutty biscuit malt. A little sweaty. Some ripe vine fruit. Taste has a soft nutty sweetness. A little dry and moderately bitter as it goes along. Nice soft foamy mouthfeel. Bitterness sharpens up on the finish. Very nice.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. 5.6%. Mostly clear pale bronze. Fairly open but lasting just off white foam. Nice sweet nutty biscuity malts up front. Muted spicy grassy hop. Taste is similarly sweet with a very lightly burnt toffee bitterness. Pretty smooth overall. Rising bitterness on the finish. Tad sweet maybe but didn’t stop me poffing it in about 5 minutes.
