Tan-cream head for a few seconds on viscously pouring black beer. Chocolate, cocos, vanilla and some roasted notes. Swee-e-e-et. Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. And... nothing else. Finishes a bit drier. Quite well-bodied, slick to viscous, chewy. Alcoholheat. It remains drinkable, but it is way too sweet and the chocolate dominates everything. Txs to Stef!

Süßer, klebrig getreidiger Beginn. Etwas Karamell, süß-herber Mittelteil, überraschend wenig alkoholisch. Leicht hopfig, weich, langer Abgang. OK, auch wenn man nicht so richtig merkt, welche Richtung das Bier einschlagen möchte. 10/8/7/8/9/7

Pours to something looking as Irish coffee, bit fluffy cream head and black beer. Coffee, coffee beans, chocolate, quite roasted, very faintly ashy. Sweet-roast, coffee. Only sign of the missing alcohol is the rather empty finish. Some herbs and lightly sweetened cacao. Light body, good carbonation. Much better than expected. Txs to Stef!

Small cream-tan rim over almost black brown beer. Bourbon nose, dark chocolate, whisky, barrels; delicate, yet powerful. Chili, capsicum, chocolated, whisky/Bourbon. Always quite refined, almost delicate, despite the flavour explosion and body. Creamy MF, and with good carbonation, and this chili-like feel (not really 'hot'), resulting in a very good balance. This is really a top one. Wondering about the "Weller" - might be something to search for.

Mossy rim over deep, red-highlighted brown-black beer. Alcohol, fusels, pear, dried prune, raisins, booze, Bourbon & vanilla. Sweet, mild roast, vanilla. Alcohol & fusels. Character as from a 'Calvados' made with pears. Fiery alcoholheat and -burning. Thick, viscous. Good carbonation. Very serious attempt at emulating the great American Imperial Stouts. Meritorious, but (only) just falling short.

Small, if reasonably stable, just off-white head over veiled orangey golden beer. Very strange, if original fruity nose, citrus-like, faint vegetal frying oil. Some faint mocha hint, immediately going over into exotic fruit (papaya? - of course the berries). Good balance. Light body, refreshing; medium to good carbonation. Nice! But - while it displays cascara berries all over the label, then why aren't they included in the triple language ingredients' list? Txs to Stef!
