Description

Swing top bottle. Sweet banana, orange, clove, and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy orange-tan color with nice fluffy white head. Minimally sweet light banana, light clove, and wheat malt flavor - watery body. Okay but a bit too light.

American Beer Distro ($4): Pours a pale gold with a head that is as good as a German pilsener typically has. Aroma of grassy German hops. Taste is somewhat bitter, but only as much as the style gets and even less so. There is a veritable malt backbone, as thin as it might be. Very German, refreshing and nice. Oh how I love pilseners.

18/03 0.5 l fliptop bottle. It poured hazy paler yellow body with big head. Coriander, banana, spicy weizen aroma. Flavor is weak but fine, yeasty, banana and orange mostly. Light bodied, watery textured with shorter banana finish, only very slightly sweet. Not bad for a light weissbier, but can’t compare to regulars anyway.

18/03 0.5 l fliptop bottle. It pours pale yellow body with medium sized head. Lemony hop aroma, some vegetable malty notes. Flavor is fine though, has fine herbal bitterness and weaker honey and biscuit malt. It’s medium bodied with nice bitterish finish. Simple, but not bad at all for my taste.

09/08 0.5 l bottle. It poured pale golden body with medium sized head. Citrus hoppy and slightly malty aroma. Flavor had cardboard and herbal hops of typical boring German pils, slightly dusty with honey malts. Thinner in body with boring short papery dry finish. No, I can’t like this anyhow.

Clear dark amber with a large beige head. Aroma had rye bread, roasted malt, caramel and hints of smoke. The flavour was sweet and had notes of roasted malt, caramel, smoke and grassy hops. The hops gave the otherwise sweet beer a nice balance.
