Description
Geert Demuynck started in 1981 with the national Belgian broadcaster BRT. As a non-beer drinker, he and his colleagues went to the Koekoek in Asse where they served a flat beer (lambic) from a wooden barrel. The interest in lambic, Oude Geuze (Gueuze), Oude Kriek and derivatives was a fact. A lot of research was done, many lambic breweries were visited and participated in events.
Things picked up speed around 2006 and soon after that the guiding started.

2021 was the year when everything got even more intense. Publitasting started. In addition to his own activities, Geert was also active at Brouwerij Timmermans, Devillé and Angerik and a collaboration was started with Brouwerij Eylenbosch, which became the main activity. With its own Stekerij Publitasting, it is the intention to only develop products and make limited editions.

Bottle. Color: reddish golden, thin white head. Aroma: Fruity, subtle floral and funky. Taste: Fruity citrus, floral notes of the rose petals are subtle but vlearly present, subtle horse blanket funk and notes of oak wood. Dry-ish fruity and floral finish. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Over moderate tart, notes of wine vinegar. Nice maceration.

Pours clear, darker yellow. Foam fades instantly. Scent is lambic funk, with a Blood Orange whiff, but certainly not very powerfull on the fruits. Taste is very tart, dry, woody and funky. Clear and sharp acidity. BO provides an assertive support. Medium body, medium carbo. Decent, balanced and pronounced.

Pours unclear amberpink, small bubble formation for a head. Scent is very mild, some funk. Notes of twigs. Taste is full, tart, very dry, more herbal than fruity. Very dry finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Color: Clear pale orangish golden, fast disappearing thin white head. Aroma: Tart, fruity orange, citrus. Rural funky hints. Taste: Over medium tart, blood orange, unripe plum, lemon notes. Oak wood. Acidic, vinegar. Subtle rural and light leathery funk. Dry-ish finish. Medium body, below average carbonation. Nice, although on the acidic side for me.

Bottle shared at Leeuwarden tasting. Clear shiny orange golden color, no head. Aroma is a bit odd and hard to describe. Flavor is sour, sour fruit, but it doesn't linger, although the fruitiness is gone quickly as well. Hard to describe. But I quite like it actually.

Very good, rather stable and just off-white head over clear darker golden beer. Nice woody lambic nose, darker grains, farmyard wafts and whisky in the background, subtle, grapefruit. Sour grapes, grapefruit, lactic acid. Again very subtly, the whisky - impossible to guess which. Sour pineapple, lemonbonbons. Lipsmacking acidity, acidburn and -thinning. Excellent. The whisky might have been just a tad more outspoken, but I'm not complaining.

White head, gone in seconds, over finely carbonated, veiled orange beer. Citrus, dominating the lactic acid. Faint farmyard odours, fresh harvest, lemon, hay. Quite sour, lactic acid, fruitacids. A certain herb, buckwheat, elderflower, lavender. Lipsmacking acidity, acidthinning and -burn. Certain stickyness, film on the mucoses. Sharp blend, the fruitaromas & -flavours are as smothered by the rather aggressive acids.
