Description
Geert Demuynck started in 1981 with the national Belgian broadcaster BRT. As a non-beer drinker, he and his colleagues went to the Koekoek in Asse where they served a flat beer (lambic) from a wooden barrel. The interest in lambic, Oude Geuze (Gueuze), Oude Kriek and derivatives was a fact. A lot of research was done, many lambic breweries were visited and participated in events.
Things picked up speed around 2006 and soon after that the guiding started.
2021 was the year when everything got even more intense. Publitasting started. In addition to his own activities, Geert was also active at Brouwerij Timmermans, Devillé and Angerik and a collaboration was started with Brouwerij Eylenbosch, which became the main activity. With its own Stekerij Publitasting, it is the intention to only develop products and make limited editions.

Bottle, 750 ml at my Grande. Crimson with small white head. Fruity and somewhat funky. Some grapes, somewhat vinous. Barrel. Nice sourness.

Intensely sour and funky with loads of blood orange tartness, lime, orange peel and citrus, some farmyard and yeastiness. Quite intense.

Sour, tart, acidic. Soapy lemon and lime, not much orange. A bit harsh and stomach-a idly but the flavor isn't bad. Side note, a megablend with the doot lambigu orange is delish.

Very pale pink medium head, reasonably stable over fully opaque dark red purplish beer with indeed pieces of fruit. Fruitaroma, but also banana, diary, and something strangely boozy, or even white spirit like. Warming up, this unwelcome aroma transcends into a whisky-like smell. Quite sour, lactic, fruitacids, and indeed, sour apple, crabapple, appleskins. Fine flavours, if not much aftertaste nor lingering aromas. Fruited buttermilk. Feels almost as Champenoise pearling, further alleviating the already light body, acidthinning, mild acidburn. Not as convincing as some blends.

Huge whipped eggwhite-like, irregular head over fully hazy orange beer. Yeast and fruit all in suspension. Putteke , sulphury a mile out; closer by, horseblanket, farmyard odours (quite litteraly). Sourish-fruity, and indeed unmistakably plums. Moreover classical touches as horseblanket, farmyard, lemony, etc. etc. - love it. Very well-carbonated, wheatslick, dry and tart, acidthinning. The plums really left their stamp here. Blend for 100 l, that's not even a small pipe!

Bottle. Color: reddish golden, thin white head. Aroma: Fruity, subtle floral and funky. Taste: Fruity citrus, floral notes of the rose petals are subtle but vlearly present, subtle horse blanket funk and notes of oak wood. Dry-ish fruity and floral finish. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Over moderate tart, notes of wine vinegar. Nice maceration.

Pours clear, darker yellow. Foam fades instantly. Scent is lambic funk, with a Blood Orange whiff, but certainly not very powerfull on the fruits. Taste is very tart, dry, woody and funky. Clear and sharp acidity. BO provides an assertive support. Medium body, medium carbo. Decent, balanced and pronounced.
